Personally, I didn't get to play the original C&C when it dropped - my first entry into the series was actually Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. UI improvements, updated controls, a Map Editor, and even Elo-based multiplayer matchmaking - there are tons of new additions to make this "love letter", as EA Lead Producer Jim Vessella calls it, a nostalgic yet exciting one. Of course, the games don't just look and sound better - gameplay has been improved too based on feedback the developers received from the active Community Council.
